Juliana is a Chicago-based Video Editor and Freelancer!
With a deep passion for storytelling and an artistic eye that drives her everlasting desire to create, she is consistently looking for opportunities to share and use her skills as a multifaceted creative.

Her love for storytelling is always incorporated into her work, bringing creativity and sophistication to any project style. Whether it's editing a fast-paced spot or an intricate narrative story, her work is founded on consistency, rhythm, and ensuring each cut elicits an emotional response. ​​

Currently, she is freelancing and assistant editing with various project types, and having an incredible time doing so! She has recently been freelancing for local schools with design-related projects as well. Juliana has also recently completed an internship at Cutters Studios in Chicago.

When she's not working, you can find her creating art in different mediums or cooking and testing out new recipes. Juliana loves to spend time with animals (especially her dog, Luigi) and out in nature when she can soak up the sun. She also can never pass up a good chat about your favorite and recommended movies or TV shows!

Juliana worked as a post-production intern for us, and we so enjoyed having her on staff. She was quick to pick up the workflow of the office, asked intelligent questions, and was happy to jump in wherever needed. During the internship, she worked on an editorial demo piece, helped out with editorial assistant tasks, and produced social media content. Juliana was an absolute joy to have at Hootenanny. From the start, it was clear that she is smart and passionate about her work.
